It's spicy and structured on the palate, with light tannins and excellent ripeness while remaining fresh and silky. 100% pinot noir from Ambonnay. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Disgorged February 2025. Drink now or hold.

The 2020 Brut Nature Blanc de Noirs La Grande Ruelle Grand Cru is a pure Pinot Noir from vines planted in 1967 in the parcel of the same name in Ambonnay. Creaminess, soft hazelnut crumble and supple, creamy pink apple flesh unite on the nose, signaling richness and generosity. The palate edges all these notions with salt and amplifies them with the creamiest, smoothest, finest mousse. This is seductive, ripe, rounded, salty and generous, yet there is no heft or heaviness. A copper hue, the 2020 Champagne Le Grande Ruelle Brut Nature is made from Pinot Noir. With a peach/copper tone, it's quite attractive in the glass and offers stone fruit flavors and a zesty white pepper note, along with fresh almond. It has a peppery, bright mousse and is medium-bodied. It comes straight on the palate and will likely need some time to unfold its brightness and snappiness, especially in this warm vintage. It has electric energy.
