Deep, concentrated and compact, this is an exceptionally chalky and salty dry riesling. For 2021 the body is also ample, the racy acidity matched with more than enough fullness and substance to carry it. Enormous drive at the very long, bold finish. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but best from 2024. 97/100

The soil of the Frauenberg consists of limestone gravel on pure lime. The effect on the wine is amazing. Stylistically, it has something Burgundian about it, something sublime. The aroma profile includes woodruff, oyster shell and citrus blossom. An animating salinity emerges on the finish. The overall impression is elegant, polished and almost crystalline. 96/100
