Lobenberg: Ein Wein der 'selection parcelaire', der vielleicht extremsten Form der in der Rhone biodynamisch betriebenen Weinberge. Transparent leuchtendes Rubinrot. Deutlich vom Schiffer geprägte ultra elegantes und klassisches Nasenbild. Kirschen, blonder Tabak und eine gute Prise Moschus. Sehr tiefschürfend aber elegant, kompakt aber dies mit perfekten Tanninen. Toller Gesamteindruck, extreme Balance bei gleichzeitiger Hyperlänge. Der Wein spiegelt sich ideal in diesen phänomenalen Megajahrgang. 98-100/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: The 2020 Ermitage Les Greffieux is more elegant yet still full-bodied, with ripe, rounded tannins. Giving up notes of chocolaty dark fruits, truffle, woodsmoke, and earth, it’s a classic, mouth-filling expression of this vineyard, which is located just below the Le Méal and consists of deep, almost pebbly soils. All Syrah aging in a mix of barrels and demi-muids, it’s going to be a ripe, sexy, yet balanced Hermitage that will offer pleasure with just short-term cellaring. 97-99/100

-- Parker: As always, the 2020 Cote Rotie la Mordorée is a blend of two adjacent parcels: one in La Côte Blonde and one in La Côte Brune. Menthol, blueberries and raspberries appear on the nose of this full-bodied, concentrated but seemingly weightless effort. Fine and silky in feel, it finishes long and elegant. It should be approachable within a few years and drink well for up to two decades. 94-96/100
