-- Suckling: This great Rheingau riesling GG is a masterpiece of mineral mystery that defies any simplistic description, except, perhaps, that this is not an obviously fruity wine. The closest it gets to that are aromas of candied orange peel. In fact, the spicy and earthy complexity is what stands out most, and that’s what drives the extremely long and complete finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2026.
