Lobenberg: Sehr hoch gelegener Weinberg, cool climate. Südexposition, harter Marmor und Kalklstein. Satte rote Kirsche in der Nase und durchaus spürbares Holz, etwas verschlossen und abweisend. Der Weinberg gehört dem sehr angesehenen Marquis de Legarda, einem langjährigen Freund der Familie Rodriguez. Stilistisch etwas mehr konservative Rioja, irgendwie ein Hauch Tondonia aus Haro, Aber schon sehr animierend. Kreidig kalkiges, feines Tannin. Eher elegant denn explosiv fruchtig. Erdig, würzig und dennoch intensiv fruchtig. Dieser Wein aus Abalos stellt sich erwachsener und formaler auf als die anderen, mehr saftig charmanten Weine der Lindes-Serie. Ein seriöses Unikat! 95-96+/100
