Parker über: Pietracalda Fiano di Avellino DOCG

-- Parker: The 2018 Fiano di Avellino Pietracalda has also seen a gorgeous bottle upgrade to the attractive ribbed bottle we saw in the Cutizzi. This wine is marked by an equally attractive red square label pinned to the front. Pietracalda is an unstoppable success, to my palate, thanks to the obvious quality you get here and that super attractive price tag. With fruit from the cool Sorbo Serpico fraction of the appellation, this wine excels at simplicity, frankness and aromatic intensity. It plays its cards well and paints a complete portrait of the Fiano grape with apple, peach and sweet citrus flavors. Some 50,000 bottles were made. 93/100

Wine Enthusiast über: Pietracalda Fiano di Avellino DOCG

-- Wine Enthusiast: Spring blossom, crushed stone and citrus fruit aromas waft out of the glass. The vibrant, focused palate has tension and finesse, offering Reinette apple, Meyer lemon, saline and bitter almond framed in bright acidity. 92/100

Suckling über: Pietracalda Fiano di Avellino DOCG

-- Suckling: A very transparent Fiano di Avellino with singing minerality piercing through a bright sheen of green apples and citrus. Light to medium body, punchy acidity and a fine, zesty finish. Drink now. 92/100
