Den ultimative Sammerbox 2022, som er noget helt særligt af flere grunde. For det første på grund af den fremragende 2022-årgang i det nordlige Rhône, og for det andet fordi det også er premiereåret for en sensation: La Reynarde er den fjerde vin, der slutter sig til de legendariske Lala'er, nemlig La Turque, La Landonne og La Mouline, som har været blandt de største vine i det nordlige Rhône i årtier - de er absolut de mest berømte. La Mouline: Aromas of grilled meat, dried spices and blackberries with dried flowers follow through to a medium-bodied wine with fine and open tannins and a juicy finish. Just a touch of wood at the end. Very refined and beautiful. Best from 2029 97/100 *** La Turque: A fabulous wine with perfumes of flowers, spices, berries, grilled meat and graphite follow through to a medium-bodied wine with fine tannins that run the length of the palate and lead to incredibly complex fruit and spice characters. The legend delivers here. Drink or hold.99/100 *** La Landonne: Wow. The aromas of violets, blackberry, blueberry, fine graphite and light tar with dried and raw meat are incredible. Medium-bodied with ultra-fine tannins and a caressing palate. Tight and focused at the end. Sophisticated. Great in all senses of the word. Needs two or three years to open and show its true self. Best after 2029. 100/100 *** La Reynarde : A new wine from 1.5 hectares in the Cote Brun. It's wonderfully perfumed from the 100% whole-bunch fermentations. It's very aromatic with dried flowers, stems and graphite, along with blackberry and blueberry. It's full-bodied but not heavy and has a long finish. This needs three or four years to open. Try after 2029. 98/100

La Mouline: Black raspberries, wildflowers, and bacon fat emerge from the 2022 Côte Rôtie La Mouline, which has an exotic yet dark, rich, and powerful profile. Based on 89% Syrah and 11% Viognier and aged 42 months in new oak, it has plenty of mid-palate depth, full-bodied richness, and ripe tannins, all while maintaining classic La Mouline character and sexiness.97-100/100 *** La Turque: Darker and more inward, cassis, graphite, crushed stone, and liquid violets define the 2022 Côte Rôtie La Turque, and it picks up more gamey, smoky, black olive notes with air. Made from 93% Syrah and 7% Viognier and aged 42 months in new oak, it shows a more structured, focused profile than La Mouline, with full-bodied richness, impressive concentration, and a great finish. 96-98/100 *** La Landonne: Another level of complexity emerges from the 2022 Côte Rôtie La Landonne, offering blackberries, currants, wood smoke, cured meats, and leather-like nuances This powerful, concentrated, straight-up massive Côte Rôtie (100% Syrah) was aged 42 months in new oak and shows classic La Landonne character, with beautiful depth and richness, as well as building tannins. There's some of the accessibility of the vintage here, yet this is nevertheless going to require a solid decade of cellaring.98-100/100 *** La Reynarde: The first vintage for this cuvée, the 2022 Côte Rôtie La Reynarde comes from the Fongeant lieu-dit, which sits just above the Côte Brune. It's not destemmed and was vinified using only punch downs (similar to La Turque) and sees the same 4 years in new barrels as the other single-vintage releases. Loads of blackberries, currants, smoked meats, crushed stone, and graphite characterize the aromatics, with black olive and iron notes emerging with air. It has a rich, full-bodied profile on the palate with a beautiful texture and ripe, polished tannins. It clearly earns its spot in the lineup and is a brilliant, structured, age-worthy Côte Rôtie in the making. 96-98/100

67 høstår blev bragt ind af bedstefar Etienne Guigal selv. Barnebarnet Phillippe husker med glæde de daglige gåture gennem den "hellige" vinkælder, hvor han fik lov til at bære bedstefars pipette og vinglas, mens Etienne gik sine kærlige runder gennem egetræstøndernes paradis.
