Lobenberg: Eine Cuvée aus alten Garnachatrauben und jungen Syrah-Reben. Der Sotorrondero ist ein würzig intensiver, feinduftiger Blend. Die lebendige Frucht des Garnacha drückt sich hier am Gaumen durch. Man hat viele rote Beeren, Sauerkirsche und Himbeere. Dann kommt die Kühle des Syrah, also eher Nordrhône als Shiraz von der neuen Welt. Kraftvoll, großartig frisch und fein im Tannin. Ganz viel Wein für wenig Geld. 91-92/100

-- Parker: The 2019 Sotorrondero mixes Garnacha from Gredos (Real de San Vicente) and 15% Syrah from Méntrida and is round, juicy, ripe and fresh with clean aromas and flavors of wild berries and herbs and very fine and slightly dusty, chalky tannins. Very pleasant, with a soft mouthfeel and a clean, focused finish with a smoky bacon note. It fermented with full clusters and matured in oak containers of different sizes for one year. 10,986 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2021.
