La Comarcal Lafont
The white 2024 Lafont was produced with grapes from five different plots on white soils in the village of La Font de la Figuera, mostly from a 2.5-hectare plot planted in 1975 at 700 to 725 meters in elevation. It's a blend of Malvasía, Macabeo and Tortosí on limestone soils with 12.4% alcohol, a pH of 3.3 and 5.1 grams of acidity. It has a light- to medium-bodied palate with very good freshness, balance and tasty flavors. The full clusters were pressed and the juice fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete, barriques and foudres, where it matured for 12 months with lees. It has a serious profile, a little austere and mineral, with less influence from the oak, as the wood is one year older than last year. It's balanced, harmonious and elegant, precise and clean. 6,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2025.,,
