Heiner Lobenberg über:
Champagne Les 7 Crus Brut

93–94
/100

-- Suckling: Seven villages are represented in this cuvée with 90% chardonnay and 10% pinot noir. This is 2016 (60%) and 2015 (40%) with a very fresh nose, offering exuberant, yellow-fruit aromas with some fresh bread from the 26-month resting on lees. This has a smooth palate, with plenty of attractive citrus fruit and peaches on offer and there’s very expressive fruit flesh at the finish.

Parker über: Champagne Les 7 Crus Brut

-- Parker: Based on the 2019 vintage and disgorged in April 2022, Agrapart's NV Brut 7 Crus wafts from the glass with scents of crisp green apple, freshly baked bread, white flowers and buttery pastry. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it's an ample, incisive wine, with racy acids and a saline finish. When the range begins like this, you know you're in the presence of one of Champagne's greatest producers.

Galloni über: Champagne Les 7 Crus Brut

-- Galloni: Agrapart's NV Brut 7 Crus is simply gorgeous. Rich, creamy and inviting, the 7 Crus hits all the right notes. The 7 Crus doesn't quite have the focus or energy of the top wines here, but it is incredibly delicious, approachable and relatively easy to find. This may very well be the finest release of the 7 Crus I have ever tasted since this cuvée debuted a few years ago. The 7 Crus is 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir.

-- Decanter: Agrapart describes this as its 'entry-level' wine, but it's far from your normal non-vintage Champagne. A blend of premier and grand cru grapes from two different vintages, its super-fresh, lemony nose segues into a tight, steely palate with delicious stone-fruit ripeness. It's light on its feet and very vital, with delightful juiciness balancing mineral inclusions. Very impressive.

Wine Spectator über: Champagne Les 7 Crus Brut

-- Wine Spectator: A well-cut Champagne, with a minerally underpinning and a pleasing tension to finely knit flavors of white cherry and Anjou pear, grated ginger and sliced almond. Plush and creamy on the lingering finish.

Wine&Spirits über: Champagne Les 7 Crus Brut

-- Wine&Spirits: This blends estate-grown chardonnay from all seven villages of the Côte des Blancs into a chalky Champagne. Flavors of lemon flan and the oyster shell scent of limestone come between the bubbles, as does a refreshing edge of white grapefruit pith. It lasts on a balance of zesty and creamy notes, delicious on its own or with a range of raw shellfish.
