-- Wine Enthusiast: This is a stunning wine that highlights the beauty and complexity to be found from a South African Pinot Noir. Minty fynbos and forest notes greet the nose upon first whiff, followed by a core of rich cherry and currant tones that are dusted by earth and cola spice. A subtle umami-like, wild-mushroom accent lends additional depth. The medium-weight palate boasts a satiny texture that's full of ripe fruit expression, yet not overdone. The long, evolving finish transitions seamlessly from fleshy berry to cherry skin then earth and bark before landing on a note of lightly toasted oak. Well balanced and complete, this is delicious now but should cellar and develop well through 2026. 92/100
