The 2021 Lagrein Kretzer (Rosé) is an understated beauty, lifting with a bouquet of rose petals, earl gray and spiced orange. It opens with a lovely inner sweetness, unleashing a cascade of licorice and hard red candies, all balanced by tantalizing acidity. The 2021 cleans up beautifully, leaving a residual tension and pretty inner florals to linger on. While technically a Rosé, the 2021 Lagrein Kretzer is a gorgeous wine with the balance for a long and steady evolution. 91/100
