Jeb Dunnuck om: Gigondas Les Hautes Garrigues

-- Jeb Dunnuck: One of the top wines in the vintage, the 2011 Domaine Santa Duc Gigondas Prestige des Hautes Garrigues is something. A blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre that is aged all in foudre (this cuvee no longer sees any new oak as of 2010), it offers classical aromatics (garrigue, sweet red fruits, and spice) that flow to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured palate that has no hard edges, sweet fruit, and excellent concentration. Very fresh and pure, yet more supple than most vintages of this cuvee, it should be given 2-3 years of bottle age, and consumed over the following decade. 92-95/100

Wine Spectator om: Gigondas Les Hautes Garrigues

-- Wine Spectator: Offers a sappy feel, with lots of kirsch, cherries jubilee and red licorice notes running together, while fruitcake, raspberry pâte de fruit and Campari accents fill the sleek finish. Best from 2015 through 2025. 93/100
