Ekstremt forførende rød frugt i næsen, totalt smarte hindbær med fine, beherskede skovjordbær. Lyse kirsebær, tranebær - sikke en silkeblødhed, den udstråler! Meget præcis og elegant. Fantastisk friskhed i smagen, den røde frugt er salt i midten, med en fin tanninrejse, der trækker det hele op i en smuk længde. Meget harmonisk. En stor succes.

Focused and curated, with very long, fine tannins that take the wine on a journey. Nicely ripe fruit with berry and light hazelnut undertones. Medium-bodied with a linear and long finish. Plenty of dark berry and dark cherry with lead pencil and flint. This is going to be an excellent wine in the bottle. 85% merlot with 15% cabernet franc.

Another excellent vintage from this trusty estate. A cool crystalline nose, cola, liquorice, tar and blueberries. So clean and pure. Crisp and focused from the off, a cooling menthol and blackcurrant element, soft grippy tannins and the most beautiful juicy mid palate that just makes you smile. A happy wine. It’s powerful no doubt but in a restrained way without any heaviness. Vibrant and energetic. I love the focus, the freshness and relatively delicacy. Filing in the month but this is exceptional in terms of fruit purity. Very drinkable. A yield of 30hl/ha. 3.68pH. - Georgina Hindle

The 2025 La Dominique is terrific. This is one of the best vintages of La Dominique I can remember tasting. Aromatic, silky and exceptionally polished, La Dominique impresses right out of the gate. Bracing saline notes extend the clean, reverberating finish. A sleeper.

Silky, elegant, and refined, the wine is medium-bodied, soft, and almost delicate in its delivery. The vibrant red fruits express a gorgeous purity, softness, and refinement, leaving you with fresh, energetic waves of red berries, spice, and a refreshing hint of mint. While you will be able to enjoy this young, it has the potential to age and evolve for at least 2 decades or more. The wine is aged in 50% new, French oak, and 10% amphora. Drink from 2029-2052.

(Saint-Émilion; 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc; a final yield of 31 hl/ha; 13.5% ABV; tasted twice, the second time at Château de Sales). This is beautifully poised and exudes a sort of calm tranquility. The fruit is very pure and there's a lovely sense of detail, aided by the luminous clarity of the mid-palate. Everything is in harmony, everything is in elegance and everything is in finesse. A very refined and accomplished wine that is the product of great acumen and skill in both the vineyard and the chai. The purity of the fruit is exceptional. One of the finest offerings from La Dominique to date.

Deep purple-hued, the 2025 Château La Dominique is a reserved yet clearly promising Saint-Emilion based on 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, raised in 50% new barrels, 35% once-used barrels, and 15% amphora. Ripe black fruits, smoky tobacco, gravelly earth, and graphite all define the nose, and on the palate, it's rich and medium to full-bodied, with ample mid-palate volume, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It checks in at 13.6% alcohol with a pH of 3.68 and is very much on the focused, dense, concentrated side of the vintage.
