The 2017 Barbaresco Il Bricco captures all of the natural intensity of this Treiso site, but in a less forced style than in the recent past, which is a very positive development for this historic house. Readers will find a potent yet well balanced Treiso Barbaresco that hits all the right notes. Macerated cherry, spice, leather, tobacco and menthol build into the potent finish. The 2017 is just gorgeous. 95/100
