Lovely nose of ripe mirabelle and lemon curd. Impressive concentration and stunning salty minerality for a de-facto village wine. Very intense lemon and chalk-dust finish that doesn’t want to stop. 100% from the GG vineyard sites of Nierstein, in this vintage mostly from the Zehnmorgen, which has chalky soil. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold. Screw cap. 93/100

The 2021 Riesling Nierstein offers an intense and elegant bouquet of fully ripe and finely flinty Riesling berries sourced from the Zehnmorgen, Orbel and Pettenthal crus. Medium to full-bodied, this is an intense, mouthfilling and charming, very elegant and beautifully balanced dry Niersteiner Riesling with fine, ripe acidity and crunchy mineral grip. Excellent quality with remarkable terroir expression and finesse. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022. 92/100
