The 2020 Rosé Lagrein Kretzer is earthy and wild. It opens with fresh-picked strawberries, wet stone and rose petal aromas. It's round and soothingly textural, balancing savory and sweet, with exotic spices complementing tart raspberry. Vibrant acidity maintains a juicy persona. This finishes with a tart concentration of wild berries while remaining incredibly fresh as sour citrus hints beautifully punctuate the experience. The Kretzer is a traditional method of producing Lagrein, where it's fermented off of the skins creating a Rosé with unparalleled depths. 90/100
