The 2016 Amancio is a softer, sexier version of the 2017 and offers a stunning array of black and blue fruits, graphite, violets, and flowery incense. With plenty of background oak, full-bodied richness, and a plush, opulent mouthfeel, it stays nicely grounded, with a good core of acidity and plenty of tannins. It's going to be a treat comparing the 2015, 2016, and 2017 over the coming 20-30 years, but one thing is for sure, these are all brilliant wines! 97/100
