Terra de Cuques fås i hvid og rød, begge utroligt fine og elegante indgangsvine med en moderat "naturvinskarakter", begge everybodys darling i imperiet af ekstreme vine fra Teroir al Limit. Dominik Huber fremtryller her noget uhørt og uventet delikat i flasken, charmerende og legesygt, en ode til glæden ved at drikke. Silkebløde tanniner med en fin saltnote, jordbær-hindbær-touch fra Grenache og brombær-blåbær-touch sammen med mørk jord fra Carignan. Stor, lidt vild bærsmag med underskov. Let lakrids og marcipan, knuste kirsebærsten. Perfekt vævet ind i legende, saftig klasse med elegant friskhed. Afbalanceret, harmonisk, velsmagende, lækker!

Den enestående årgang 2022 betragtes i Spanien som en historisk milepæl. På trods af rekordvarme imponerer vinene takket være kølige sommernætter med forbløffende lave pH-værdier, spektakulær syrefreshhed og silkeagtige tanniner – en storslået, perfekt afbalanceret tæthed på højde med den store Bordeaux-årgang.

From different vineyards around Torroja del Priorat, the 2022 Terra de Cuques Negre is 50-50 Garnatxa and Carinyena vinified for 7-10 days whole-cluster with native yeasts in both concrete and stainless steel tanks. Another six months of aging in both vessels leads to a refined, lighter-bodied palate of subtle red fruit and well-integrated tannins that is drinking great now and should continue over the next 8-10 years.

Parker om: Terra de Cuques Negre

The red 2022 Terra de Cuques was produced with a 50/50 blend of Garnacha from clay soils and Cariñena from slate soils from 25- to 40-year-old vines. It fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts for seven to 10 days and matured in stainless steel and concrete for eight months. It has 13.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.6 with 4.7 grams of acidity. It feels like the two varieties are very integrated and complement each other, but it was a blend of separate fermentations (the timing for the varieties is very different). It seems to get the best of both worlds; it's harmonious, seamless and round, a little more generous this year, with elegant tannins and a long, dry finish. 28,068 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2023.

A textural, silky and seductive red with aromas of crushed wild strawberries, rosemary, crushed stones and baking spices. Medium-bodied with melty tannins. Refined in style and texture, with succulent fruit that remains discreet. Stony character brings freshness and direction toward the flavorful, savory finish. Drink or hold.
