Lobenberg: Meget kompleks frugtsmag, masser af sorte frugter, lavendel og mørk chokolade. Meget elegant i munden, men også meget kødfuld, masser af polerede tanniner og en utrolig saftig mundfølelse. Den er utrolig lang, men slet ikke kraftig eller påtrængende. Eftersmagen er ekstremt legende. Alle smagsnuancerne opleves langsomt igen. Ud over sin finesse og vedholdenhed er den også uhyre præcis. 98-100/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: A legendary wine in the making is the 2015 Côte Rôtie La Mouline, which would be a desert island wine for yours truly. Offering almost over the top decadence in its sweet black raspberry fruits, floral, violet, and spice aromas and flavors, it hits the palate with a thick, unctuous, awesome texture that carries no hard edges and incredible amounts of sweet Syrah fruit. Give it a few years and enjoy bottles over the following 2-3 decades. 99-100/100

A very complex and complete nose with everything so integrated and beautifully judged. There are ripe blackberries, blood plums, fragrant spices, dark stones and roasted coffee, to name just some of what is already on offer here. The palate has such richness and such build and layering with ripe dark plums and blackberries, clothed in robes of spice-laden, velvety tannins in a majestic mode. Pure class and a great vintage for sure. One of the best ever. Best from 2025. 99/100

-- Parker: Full-bodied and powerful yet elegant, the 2015 Cote Rotie La Mouline is potentially close to perfect. Espresso, grilled meat, caramelized plum and cassis pick up hints of vanilla and herbal-floral notes on the nearly limitless finish. I can’t wait to try this again next year. 97-99/100

67 høstår blev bragt ind af bedstefar Etienne Guigal selv. Barnebarnet Phillippe husker med glæde de daglige gåture gennem den "hellige" vinkælder, hvor han fik lov til at bære bedstefars pipette og vinglas, mens Etienne gik sine kærlige runder gennem egetræstøndernes paradis.
