The classic 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape (75% Grenache, 11% each Syrah and Mourvedre, and the rest Cinsault, Vaccarese, and Counoise) is classic all the way, offering a bright, complex style in its darker cherry and mulberry-like fruits as well as peppery garrigue, spice, and leather. Medium-bodied on the palate, it's elegant and offers silky tannins, remarkable freshness, and a great finish. This is classic Châteauneuf du Pape all the way.
