The blend of spring flowers and garrigue on the nose is just perfect. The dark red berries come though from there on the nose and palate. Soft, fruity, fresh and juicy, the wine is already such a treat in your glass. The finish loads you with with its melange of red fruits and olives. Enjoy it on release, or give it a year or two in the cellar, either way you're in for a treat.93/100

Tasted as a barrel sample, the 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape from Nicolas Boiron showed beautifully, with lots of classic black raspberry and jammy berry fruits intermixed with plenty of peppery garrigue, new leather, and dried bouquet garni-like aromas and flavors. It’s certainly a classic style of wine, yet it has beautiful fruit, medium to full-bodied richness, notable purity, and a great finish. A no-brainer for the classic Châteauneuf du Pape lovers out there, it’s going to drink well on release and shine for 15 years or more. 91-93+/100
