Heiner Lobenberg om:
Chateau Coutet 1er Cru Classe 2024

Intense golden colour. Rich and complex nose reminiscent of ripe pear and greengage, apricots, mango and tangerine zest, fine floral hints and a whiff of vanilla. On the palate excellent freshness with depth and length, fine minerality, elegant acidity, balanced sweetness, again a vintage with precision and purity. Tastingbook.com

Jane Anson om: Chateau Coutet 1er Cru Classe

Delivers texture and flesh, love the aromatics that are sweet without being heavy, this has restraint and carefully-measured fleshy fruits, nectarine, pineapple, white peaches, lime zest, gunsmoke, perfectly-judged acidities. One of the wines of the vintage, great stuff from Philippe and Aline Baly.

Tim Atkin om: Chateau Coutet 1er Cru Classe

Decidedly orange blossom aromas with some acacia and nut brittle. Plenty of saffron and vanilla from oak as well. Great depth and purity despite the multi-layered complexity. Excellent botrytis flavours of marzipan and dried apricot. Palate flooding depth and sweetness (est. 135 g/L) and breadth with a wonderful satin texture and length. I loved Coutet last year, and I love it again this. Fabulous wine.
