Tyskland Weingut Tesch Collector's Box: Riesling Langenlonsheimer Löhrer Berg Vintage Vertical 2019 - 2024 dry 0,75l white
Parker zu 2024: The 2024 Löhrer Berg Langenlonsheim Riesling Trocken is deep, intense and complex on the citric and substantial, earthy nose. Full-bodied, round and elegant on the palate, this is a luscious, mouth-filling, textured and persistently structured, savory and saline-finishing Riesling with fine tannins and a long aftertaste. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in July 2025. 93/100 *** Parker zu 2023: The 2023 Riesling Trocken Langenlonsheimer Löhrer Berg is clear, intense and elegant on the beautifully aromatic yet also fine and spicy/mineral nose that intermingles ripe apricot aromas with fundamental saline notes and floral/herbal nuances that add a coolish touch to the perfectly ripe and well-articulated fruit. Lush and charming on the palate, this is a textured and well-balanced Riesling from loamy-gravelly soils that guarantee ripe and finely juicy fruit provided with fine, mineral acidity and serious phenol grip. This 2023 should have excellent aging potential, and although it's already mouthfilling, I'd keep enough bottles to see what happens over the next two or three decades. The aftertaste is generously aromatic but also intense and characterized by the firm structure of this full-bodied wine. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in September 2024. 94/100 *** Parker zu 2022: The 2022 Löhrer Berg Langenlonsheimer Riesling trocken is from loamy-gravelly soils and opens with refreshing and greenish fruit aromas reminiscent of limes and lemons but also white fruits. On the palate, this is a medium-bodied, vital and quite rich dry Riesling with a complex, savory, well-structured and persistent finish. The wine is still tight but tensioned and linear. It drinks like a cool-climate Riesling, and it's hard to believe it experienced an extremely dry and hot summer. Maybe its body and intensity give a hint, but on the other hand, the 2022 has just 12% stated alcohol. Stelvin screw cap. Tasted in October 2023. 92/100 *** Parker zu 2021: The 2021 Löhrer Berg Langenlonsheim Riesling Trocken is from a coolish and rainy year and opens with a deep, pure, saline and tonic bouquet of lime zests and salt. Elegant and linear on the palate, with a grippy and still young and restrained character, this is a full-bodied, even rich but super vital and still restrained dry Riesling that is still in its development. This dense, (extract) sweet, finely tannic and long wine has refreshing lemony notes and surprising substance, complexity and potential. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in July 2025. 93+/100 *** Parker zu 2020: The 2020 Riesling Löhrer Berg offers a deep yet bright, pure, fresh and substantial nose with leafy and spicy white fruit aromas. Firm and piquant on the palate, this is a dense, round and fruity but grippy and stimulating Löhrer Berg with fine mineral acidity and a dense and quite powerful finish. Impressive. 12.5% alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in September 2021. 92/100 *** Parker zu 2019: Tesch's golden 2019 Löhrer Berg Langenlonsheim Riesling Trocken is fragrant and stony on the saline, fresh, fine, bright nose. From vines planted about 80 years ago, this is a full-bodied, pure, vital, nervous, saline and tensioned Riesling with grip, salt, yellow plum flavors and excellent aging potential. It's a fabulous, still youthful and very promising Riesling. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in July 2025. 94/100
