Omkring 5 års gærlagring, som også kan mærkes tydeligt. Røget, med fin karamelsmag, derefter fersken, frugten bliver dybere og mere gul, har allerede masser af tryk. Meget fin perlage, tæt og cremet, med en dejlig gul frugtighed også her. Du bliver straks omfavnet af denne fløjlsagtige tekstur, cremet og fin, munden bliver helt overtaget. Ferskensmagen er karamelagtig og citrusagtig på samme tid. Fyldig og frisk på én gang. Dette er en virkelig elegant mousserende vin med en vis overdådighed og alligevel et silkeagtigt, animerende drikkeflow. Et rigtigt kraftværk, ingen tvivl om det, med masser af damp og struktur, men også så drikkelig og fin.

Suckling om: Riesling Sekt Reserve Extra Brut

What a wide spectrum of candied-citrus aromas, underlined by a note of toasted baguette. Very focused and well-structured on the finely etched, medium-bodied palate. Long mineral finish with a touch of oyster-shell character. Limited production. Disgorged November 2024 after 57 months maturation on the lees. Drink or hold.

Parker om: Riesling Sekt Reserve Extra Brut

Aged sur lattes for 92 months, the 2019 Extra Brut Réserve is pure Riesling vinified in predominantly stainless steel but also traditional oak vats. The wine shows intense and ripe fruit on the elegant, oxidative rather than reductive nose, and it already indicates a certain generosity. Complex and saline on the palate, this is a dry but rich and mouth-filling sparkling Riesling with a pure, bone dry and salivating saline, tightly structured and promising finish. The wine was dosed with less than two grams per liter and disgorged in June 2024. It's still a very young but age-worthy Sekt. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Burg Layen in February 2025.

Galloni om: Riesling Sekt Reserve Extra Brut

The 2019 Extra Brut Riesling Reserve was made from fruit picked across Erste Lagen in Burg Layen. The nose offers an immediate apple and crushed yarrow lift, typical for Riesling, with a lovely sense of maturity and freshness combined. The palate presents smooth mousse and fine freshness of ripe, juicy acidity that lends a superb backbone. The finish is clean-cut, vivid, bright and above all, lasting. Wonderful. Dosage is 1 gram per liter. Disgorged: June 2024.
