The 2018 Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg Auslese ** (White Capsule) is warm, ripe and intense on the stony, elegant and refined yet more generous nose compared to the two-starred Auslesen from the Saar. Concentrated and round on the palate, with firm tannins and even a certain austerity, this is a refined and elegant, concentrated and rich Auslese with a piquant grapefruit finish. This is far too young to be served too soon. Tasted at the domain in September 2020. 94/100
