The 2020 Karthäuserhofberg GG Riesling is deep, clear, precise and complex on the concentrated and saline nose that reveals delicate notes of weathered slate. Filigreed, refined and tropical on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense, elegant, persistently structured, mouthwatering and saline Riesling with a generous texture but great precision and uplifting crystalline acidity. It is highly expressive and has a great personality, with fine tannins. The finish is very long and intense. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in January 2026.
