Cava Mas Via Gran Reserva Brut
The nose of the 2008 Mas Vía Gran Reserva Brut is phenomenal, complex, with spices, yeasts, baked brioche, dry flowers, baked apples and a myriad of changing aromas and nuances. This is adjusted to around six grams of sugar, which feels really integrated in the wine and gives it more balance than the 2008 Clos Damiana Extra Brut that I tasted next to it. It's fresh and lively, perfect for drinking now, complex and elegant, very subtle and balanced. It matured in bottle with the lees for 14 years. This 2008 feels very complete, balanced and lively with great freshness. This is a superb bottle of Cava. 3,264 bottles produced. It was disgorged in November 2023.
