Juicy, salty and racy with a terrific harmony of red berry fruit and lively mousse, this is an excellent sparkling rosé that has way more character than is the norm for this category. A bold and very clean, dry finish pulls you back for more. A cuvee of pinot noir and pinot meunier that was disgorged in March 2024. Drink or hold. 92/100

Blending spontaneously fermented Pinots Noir and Meunier that were aged on the lees until July 2022, the coral-colored Griesel 2021 Rosé Brut opens with an intense, pure, fresh and textured bouquet of ripe red fruits intertwined with floral and brioche aromas due to 20 months sur lattes. Disgorged in March 2024, this is a medium-bodied, elegant, fresh and vinous rosé with a remarkably long but lean and stimulating finish. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in July 2024.
