Cote Rotie Lieu-Dit La Vialliere
I loved the 2019 Côte Rôtie La Viallière, and this is always one of the standouts in the single vineyard releases. Beautiful cassis and darker raspberries, notes of violets, flowery incense, and crushed stone, medium to full body, lots of tannins, and a great finish all make for a quintessential Côte Rôtie that deserves 4-5 years of bottle age. It's very much in the more structured, tannic style of the vintage and is going to have 25-30 years of overall longevity. 97/100
