Deep nose of smoke and wet earth that's still very youthful, opening slowly in the glass. A full-bodied, concentrated and enormously structured Chateauneuf that's pure velvet in the extremely long mineral finish. A very compact wine built for the long haul. From a vineyard planted exclusively with grenache. This was matured almost completely in ceramic jars. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

Pure Grenache, over 100 years old, on sandstone. Gorgeous strawberry notes on the nose. A delicate, fine, beautiful style. The acidity is balanced with fine Darjeeling tannins. Only medium-bodied. Great finesse, 'ça pinote' as they say around here, as it resembles Pinot Noir. Star anise and incense on the finish. All aged in amphora. 95/100
