Pure, unadulterated cassis and blackberry extend from nose to finish in this intensely concentrated Syrah. Made from partially destemmed grapes, it's rich and glossy but shaded by hints of dark earth, granite and leather. Ripe, integrated tannins seem coated in cocoa powder and chalk. Approachable already but should improve through 2030 and hold further. 95/100
