Lobenberg: Beliggende i udkanten af appellationen med skrånende bjergskråninger ned i sandjord. Meget harmonisk i næse og mund, rund, overdådig og moden, viser smuk balance, stor harmoni. Pomerol-appellationen er virkelig på toppen i 2019 og ikke for fed. En elegant fornøjelse.

This is soft and chewy with very round tannins and lots of blackberry, toasted-oak, walnut and earth character. Traditional with a new vibe. Full-bodied, layered and juicy. Some tobacco, stem and chocolate, too. Better after 2026.

Decanter om: Chateau Rouget

Ripe and dried red berry fruit on the nose, raisins, freshly picked raspberries and blueberries. Some wonderful potpourri perfume too. Great grip and hold from the start - this is tannic and they coat the mouth but with such a bright and juicy aspect too. Real energy here, a lighter if you can say that (as still 14.5%) style, with focus on delicate red fruits, perfume and dark chocolate. RIch to start with, muscular with a bold immediate taste then the delicacy comes in. A wonderful aerial style that is all in balance but still needs some time. It will reward cellaring. Great potential here and quality winemaking on show. Tasted twice.

Rouget 2019's magnificent nose can amaze you. After swirling the wine, your palate can be splashed with the creamy blueberries and the gentle freshness of Houttuynia cordata. Being juicy and opulent on the palate, it demonstrates not only the compact structure but softness and beauty. Tannins are rich and creamy, providing a strength of iron powder towards the finish. In all aspects, Rouget 2019 is a qualitative Pomerol. What are you waiting for? Buy it!

The 2019 Rouget is a bold, sexy wine. Super-ripe dark cherry, kirsch, new leather, cedar, menthol and cinnamon all flesh out in an ample, sumptuous Pomerol that captures all the best this warm, radiant vintage had to give. This is an especially flamboyant style that works so well.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Rouget comes prancing out of the glass with flamboyant scents of black raspberries, warm black plums and boysenberries with hints of red roses, Chinese five spice and oolong tea plus a waft of pencil shavings. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers a firm frame of ripe, rounded tannins and seamless freshness, nicely supporting the generous black fruits, finishing long and mineral laced.
