Sort, skinnende rubinrød, let gennemskinnelig. Meget aromatisk, velduftende næse. Appelsinskal, lidt melon, sorte kirsebær, søde røde kirsebær, et strejf af brombær, praliné. Mineralsk, salt stenpulver. Uhyre frisk i munden, stor, hurtig syre, berusende! Rød og sort frugt igen, masser af frisk blomme, skovjordbær, brombær, et strejf af cassis, lidt blåbær. Et strejf af laurbær, stenpulver, mørk mælkechokolade. Alt sammen vævet sammen med den rige glycerin, den høje alkohol og de smøragtige tanniner for at skabe en meget frisk, berusende oplevelse. En virkelig stor vin, helt perfekt, ekstremt hurtig Margaux. 98/100

Ripe blackcurrants, scorched earth, chocolate, and leafy tobacco are just some of the nuances in the 2010 Château Rauzan Ségla. This rich, powerful, and incredibly concentrated Margaux has a stacked mid-palate, ripe, velvety tannins, and a blockbuster finish. It's entering its prime drinking window and will continue to impress for another 30 years. Drink 2025-2053.

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, the 2010 Rauzan-Segla is deep garnet-colored. After a little swirling, a gorgeous perfume of rose oil, star anise, fragrant soil, and kirsch slowly emerges, followed by suggestions of blackcurrant pastilles, tar, and black truffles. The medium-bodied palate is jam-packed with dense black fruit preserves and earthy layers, supported by super-firm, ripe, grainy tannins and amazing tension, finishing with epic length. Stunning! 98/100

Full-bodied, concentrated and jam-packed with savory/earthy fruit, it has a rock-solid structure of firm, grainy tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing with great length and expression. 96/100

Fra 1983 til 1994 var ejendommen ejet af Jacques Theo, hvis klare bevidsthed om kvalitet endda førte til, at Château Rauzan Segla ikke producerede nogen vin i det (utilfredsstillende)...
