Den første Lascombes i moderne tid, hvor FOR MEGET træ er blevet perfekt tæmmet af den spektakulære friskhed og vibration. Stor race og balance, selv før ankomsten af den nye superstjernevinmager Axel Heinz (tidligere Ornellaia). Lascombes er her absolut værdig til sin status som 2eme Cru, helt sikkert en af superstjernerne i Cantenac på niveau med Brane Cantenac. Fantastisk vin.

This is extremely linear and refined with a super-fine line of tannins running through the center of the wine. It’s full-bodied, yet tight and sophisticated, with a long, long finish. Plenty of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, walnut and cedar in the aftertaste. Try after 2025. 96/100

Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Lascombes charges out of the gate with brazen scents of blackcurrant jelly, Black Forest cake and black raspberries plus touches of cedar chest, lilacs, pencil lead, camphor and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, the palate possesses beautiful poise and freshness, with a firm line of ripe, finely grained tannins supporting the intense, crunchy black fruits, finishing on a lingering mineral note. 93-95+/100
