Heiner Lobenberg om:
Chateau La Fleur Petrus 2010

97–99+
/100

Lobenberg: Sort kirsebærkompot med frisk blomme rørt ind. Lidt kanel. Jordagtigt krydderi, dominikansk tobak, mælkechokolade. Racy. 97-99+/100

Suckling om: Chateau La Fleur Petrus

What a complex nose of dark fruits, truffles and wet earth. Fascinating. Full, yet super long with ultra refined tannins and a long, long finish. It is tannic and muscular but polished and reserved. It's a wine with refinement and power. 98-99/100

Wine Spectator om: Chateau La Fleur Petrus

This is so creamy and lush, with layers of red, black and purple fruits. Shows muscle on the finish, but the fruit is here in spades, with terrific polish. Very, very long, with power and freshness. Tasted non-blind. 96-99/100

Parker om: Chateau La Fleur Petrus

This is an incredible effort from this 35-acre vineyard (almost the identical size as Petrus). I had visited the 2010 Petrus about an hour before I had La Fleur Petrus. I was dumbfounded – it appeared to have a character nearly identical to the great Petrus! The fabulous 2010 La Fleur Petrus boasts a dense purple color in addition to a big, sweet perfume of mocha-infused black raspberry and black cherry fruit that is extravagantly rich, textured and long. Super-pure, deep and full-bodied, this remarkable wine will be one for the history books. The tannins are elevated, but the depth of fruit and richness are amazing. For those who will never be able to afford a bottle of Petrus, this is about as close as one can get to the aromas and flavors of that mythical wine. It should drink well for three decades or more. 95-98+/100

Jane Anson om: Chateau La Fleur Petrus

A clear step up for me from the 2009 vintage, here the entire architecture and tension through the wine is well crafted, confidently held together, with layers of cocoa bean, cassis, crayon, graphite, juicy blackberry fruit, poised and crafted.

Jeb Dunnuck om: Chateau La Fleur Petrus

The 2010 Château La Fleur-Petrus is based on 96.5% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and a splash of Petit Verdot. It has a perfumed nose of sweet red and black fruits as well as menthol, flowers, chalky minerality, and loamy earth. This gives way to a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, flawlessly balanced Pomerol that has a juicy, lively mouthfeel, ripe, integrated tannins, and a great finish. It's incredibly complex and, given its balance and purity, is a dream to drink today. However, I see no reason it shouldn't continue to evolve for another two decades if well stored. Drink 2025-2045.
