De Sousas Demeter-certificerede rosé er en blanding af 92 procent Chardonnay modnet i rustfrit stål og Pinot Noir modnet i træfade. Alt sammen spontangæret og ufiltreret. Roséen har en vidunderlig strålende, mørkrosa farve. Og denne balancegang mellem de to sorter mærkes straks her, da både den citrusagtige, nøddeagtige Chardonnay og kombinationen af hindbær og surkirsebær fra Pinot Noir er udtryksfulde. Let ristede hasselnødder, hyldebær og varm brøddej, fin og afbalanceret, let cremet, doseringen er godt udnyttet og giver vinen en stor syrlighed. Men det ville ikke være en De Sousa, hvis den ikke også havde dette lidt usædvanlige spark i frugten. Meget elegant! 93/100

The NV Champagne Extra Brut Rose is 90% Chardonnay from vines in Avize that are over 60 years old and the rest still red Pinot Noir from Aÿ. Based on the 2016 vintage and raised in barrels, it pours a salmon color with an orange tinge and has a savory aromatic profile of toasted orange peel, dark chocolate, fresh redcurrant, and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, it feels linear through the palate and has a pithy structure, with a good bit of briny salinity and a zesty, fresh finish. It’s long and persistent, with driving citrus and a fresh feel. Drink 2023-2033. It was disgorged in November 2021 and sees 5 grams per liter dosage. 92/100

Light, wild raspberry and strawberry aromas. A strong fruit presence on the palate, where strawberry and watermelon flavors rule the roost. Fleshy and flamboyant. 91/100

Galloni om: Champagne Brut Rosé

Dark pink, with a hint of onion skin; the color of a red wine from Arbois, even darker than some. Deep and smoky on the nose, with a spicy, vinous raspberry and cherry tone verging on Burgundian in character. Quite spicy, the cherry and wild berry flavors tinged by notes of clove, mace, cracked pepper and cayenne. A singular wine that would go perfectly with pungent cheeses or cured meats. 91/100

De Sousa's NV Brut Rosé is an assemblage of 92% Chardonnay fermented in stainless steel and 8% Pinot Noir fermented in small barrels. The wine has a beautiful onion color and opens with a delicate and vinous bouquet. On the palate, this is a round, charming, pretty smooth and fruity rosé with remarkable finesse and balance. Very seductive, with very nice creaminess and lingering brioche and red fruit flavors in the clear and fresh finish. 90/100
