The 2013 Triumvirat Grande Cuvée Brut offers a deep, very rich and intense nose of ripe fruits, autolysis and oaky tones. It's pure and elegant but also pretty baroque. Vinified in barriques (67%) and stainless steel (33%) and aged on the bottle lees for 100 months or more, this is a mouth-filling, refined, tensioned and wonderfully salty sparkling wine with firm phenolic grip, great length and vitality. This is an untamed, salivating, dense and energetic sparkling wine of the first class. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2023. 96/100
