Lovely orange-peel character gives energy and brightness to this wine. Lots of cherries and blackberries. Medium to full body with plenty of crunchy fruit and a long, consistent finish. Nicely smoky at the end, in a subtle way. Drink or hold. 94/100

Galloni om: Morellino di Scansano Riserva

The 2019 Morellino di Scansano Riserva offers up sweet red cherry, tobacco, spice, leather, mint and incense. Medium in body, with lovely aromatic nuance, the 2019 is already showing some signs of development. For that reason, I would prefer to drink it sooner rather than later. 91/100
