The 2016 Brut Rosè Lambrusco di Sorbara Metodo Classico wafts up with a pretty display of bright strawberry and cherry offset by hints of mint and rose. This is round and supple on the palate; a silken bead of fine bubbles and a mix of ripe orchard fruits and saline-tinged minerals adds a lovely contrast. It leaves the palate completely refreshed while tapering off with admirable length as a sour-citrus twang punctuates the finale. This exceptional Lambrusco is loaded with character.
