Denne ekstremt charmerende Fleurie er et perfekt match, fordi den kører så meget på den søde fyldige frugt, jordbær, hindbær, søde røde kirsebær. Elegant, silkebløde tanniner, en stor fornøjelse, men med staying power, du kan glemme den i kælderen i 10 eller 20 år uden bekymringer, selv om det nok ikke sker, fordi den er så lækker, når den er ung. 95/100

As I mentioned last year, Poncié is a lieu à dit situated up on the steepest section of hillside vineyards in Fleurie, with the Chermettes’ vines now more than forty years of age.. The 2022 Poncié is a breathtakingly beautiful example of this stunning vintage, with the bouquet soaring from the glass in a complex blend of sappy plums, red and black cherries, pomegranate, a touch of fresh nutmeg, woodsmoke, pigeon, granitic soil tones, fresh thyme and a pungent topnote of violets. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, precise and tangy, with a sappy core of fruit, beautiful soil signature and grip, ripe, buried tannins and stunning length and grip on the complex and impeccably balanced finish. This is utterly brilliant Fleurie! It is still a young wine and will be more complete with five to ten years’ worth of bottle age, but it is certainly quite accessible already and hardly a crime to open a bottle in this beautiful first blush of youth. 95/100

The 2022 Fleurie Poncié, aged in foudres, exudes an unmistakable floral charm, characterized by aromas of freshly cut peonies and rose petals intertwined with notes of juicy raspberries, mandarin oranges and sweet spices. The wine bursts with flavor, enveloping the palate with a silken concentration. The fruit flavors persists as the wine gracefully transitions to slate-like minerality and powdery tannins that build a lively, reverberating tension. The wine ends on a high with persistent flavor that gradually weens out for a precise, charming finish.

This Fleurie has oomph and stamina. Deep purple in color, the wine has a nose of black raspberry, black plum and dried red cherry. Concentrated black fruit reveals itself on the midpalate followed by a sprinkling of red fruit. Drink now, but it will continue to improve with age through 2028.
