Including more Clairette and slightly less Grenache than normal, the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape Prestige Blanc was bottled in October of last year and was brought up all in demi-muid. It has a straight, focused style that carries ample richness and concentration as well as notes of caramelized peach, crushed citrus, brioche, white flowers, and spice. It's another rich, powerful wine from this team that stays fresh, balanced, and pure. It needs a year of bottle age, but it’s a brilliant white! 95+/100
