Lobenberg: En rig næse af sorte kirsebær, blåbær, brombær og cassis skyder op af glasset. Poesia, Helene Garcias (Chateau Barde Haut) lille boutique-vingård i Saint-Emilion, der ligger på ren kalksten ved siden af Chateau Mangot og Valandraud. Kaffe, cassis, rosenblade, koncentrerede vilde hindbær og morbær i munden. Fyldig lakrids, mynte, eukalyptus. Næsten en fed vin, hvis det ikke var for de burgundiske sorte kirsebær. Den høje andel af Cabernet Franc garanterer elegance. Den lave pH-værdi på kalksten giver en strålende friskhed, meget lang og meget kompleks. I modsætning til Barde Haut selv er Poesia på samme niveau som Barde Hauts naboer Tour Saint Christophe og La Voute, som er sammenlignelige boutique-vingårde på kalksten og af exceptionel kvalitet.

The perfume here reminds me of a freshly picked bouquet of flowers. Soft, silky, fresh and vibrant, the fruits show a gorgeous sense of purity in the sweet, ripe, kirsch and plums, with lift and chalky tannins in the finish. Long, refined and complex, this is already a joy to taste . But its best days are in the future , if you can hold off from opening a bottle. Drink from 2024-2038.

The 2019 Poesia is a real beauty. Pliant and seductive in the glass, with striking depth, Poesia is absolutely gorgeous in 2019. Plush fruit and soft curves give the 2019 so much pure appeal. Dark cherry, plum, lavender, spice and licorice all meld together in sumptuous Saint-Émilion that will drink well right out of the gate. Sweet floral notes resonate on the effortless finish. Tasted next to Barde-Haut, Poesia offers a touch more freshness.Hélène Garcin-Lévêque and Patrice Lévêque turned out a gorgeous set of 2019s. The wines are deep, ample and so expressive. Readers who want to understand the diversity of Saint-Émilion will find that in Barde-Haut and Poesia, two wines that really capture the personality of the vintage in these two districts. 93-95/100

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Poesia is a little closed to begin, soon opening out to reveal wonderfully pure notes of crushed red and black plums, fresh blackberries and warm cherries with nuances of allspice, aniseed, potpourri and forest floor. Medium-bodied, the palate is tightly wound, featuring loads of mineral sparks and a wicked backbone of freshness, with very fine-grained tannins to support, finishing long and vibrant. 92-94+/100
