Næsen åbner med en vidunderlig, røget, stenet reduktion. Den minder straks om Von Winning i denne perfekte blanding af frugt, træ og reduktion. Meget delikat sandeltræ, knust våd lime, muslingeskal. Så kommer citronskal, abrikos, lidt grapefrugt, grønt æble, let pære, solbær. Meget ligetil i smagen og helt på det stenede, kølige spor. Strålende, krystalklar og gribende. En Bordeaux Blanc i præcis Bourgogne-stil. Virkelig elegant, en stor vin.

This is the white wine I had been hoping to meet in 2024. Full without being showy. Clear without ever feeling thin. Aromas of beeswax, pomelo, sweet orange, and soda biscuit rise in gentle waves, layered with care and lifted by a subtle flicker of flint. The texture is like a soft pear soup, cradling the wine’s high acidity with effortless grace. There is strength, but it never overreaches. Restraint, but never austerity. And then the finish, a whisper of sweetness lingers, like a kiss from another time, so tender it makes you close your eyes without meaning to. A wine this beautiful is hard to resist. Honestly, I wish I had a whole case to myself.
