A juicy and fruity red with plum, berry, dark-chocolate and stone character. Medium- to full-bodied,dense and succulent with ripe and polished tannins.

The 2023 Balestard La Tonnelle is plump, juicy and super-expressive. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, licorice, spice and new French oak are front and center. This is a pretty exuberant, flamboyant style, but it works well. Best of all, the 2023 should drink well right out of the gate. There's certainly plenty of charm here.
