Delikat og filigran, trods masser af kraft og rige tanniner, jordbærnoter, cassis, blomme og kirsebær. Ekstremt udtryksfuld og intens. Det er meget svært at finde bedre roséchampagner, og der er næppe nogen mærkechampagne under 100 euro, der kan overgå den. Jean-Francois nummererer champagnen efter batch. Druerne kommer altid fra Grand Cru-vinmarker, men har af og til forskellig farve, da Jean-Francois ønsker at give vinen den optimale balance mellem reservevine ved hver påfyldning. Det er trods alt en håndlavet vin. 94-95/100

The ‘No.3’ Grand Cru Rosé from André Clouet is simply magical. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, with 10% still red Pinot Noir blended into Blanc de Noirs base. This stunning Champagne simply dazzles from the second you encounter its gorgeous aromas of fresh sliced strawberries and cherries which are woven together with toast, minerals and rose petal accents. On the palate this is full and beautifully balanced with wonderful depth and precision as it finishes up fresh and vivid. 94/100

The NV Brut Rosé No 3 Grand Cru is a pure Bouzy Pinot Noir that gets its beautiful intense onion-skin color from the addition of 8% red wine. The nose is rich and complex but at the same time pure and refined, with a nice chalky layer and vinous fruit intensity. Round and rich but fresh and vital on the pure and elegant palate, this is a full-bodied, pretty intense and persistent rosé to be served with main courses. This rosé is seriously complex and expressive, with grip, tension and a long finish. Remarkable in class and style. 93/100
