Lobenberg: Le Mont ist die jüngste Parzelle. Sie kam 1957 dazu und weist noch etwas Silex nebst Tuffstein auf. Sie ergeben bei Huet meist die komplexesten Weine mit ausgeprägt mineralischer Note. Eine deutliche Steigerung zum Demi-Sec. Im Vergleich zum Riesling wäre das hier eher Auslese als Spätlese. Ein klassischer Moelleux. Im Bouquet findet man weiße Blüten, Apfel und etwas Honig. Auch etwas Orangenkonfitüre. Am Gaumen sehr klar und mit markanter Fruchtsüße aus Steinobst und ein wenig reifer Birne. Jung ein erfrischender Aperitif, gereift ein Speisenbegleiter zu Meeresfischen oder zur Apfel-Tarte. 94-95/100

---- Parker: Intensely yellow in color, the 2016 Vouvray Le Mont Moelleux offers a flinty-piquant bouquet of ripe, super ripe, concentrated, pure and fresh Chenin Blanc aromas. Sweet, piquant and lush on the palate with a certain creaminess, fine tannins, tension and lingering salinity, this is a pure, complex and persistent Chenin Blanc from 40-year-old vines on pebbles, green clay and flint stone (silex). Promising. Tasted February 2018. 92/100

----- Weingut: After an ideal growing season in 2015, 2016 did indeed bring its complications, but as there are no shadows without light, the small quantities produced are balanced with a very special quality. We classify the 2016 growing season with one word, exceptional :- exceptional, like the frost of 27 April 2016, that outlined the first traces of the vintage, reducing 50% of future bunches- exceptional, like the immense precipitation of spring- exceptional, like the period of drought that began in July and lasted through November- exceptional, like the magnificently luminous sky under which we harvested for three weeks, beginning October 6 Beautiful conditions prior to and during harvest allowed us to make multiple passes through the vineyards, thereby granting us the ability to produce our entire range of still wines from Sec to Cuvée Constance. Sparkling wine was not made in 2016.
