Lobenberg: Im Gegensatz zur Gravonia Crianza besteht die Reserva auch aus Malvasia, das gibt einen zusätzlichen Kick an perfümiertem, blumigen, exotischem Aroma. Die Viura ist puristisch wie in der Crianza, gewachsen auf Kreide, Kalkstein und weißem Lehm. Die Weißweine stehen immer auf hellen, kargen Böden. Spontanvergärung in Jahunderte alten Holzfässern, dann Ausbau mindestens 6 Jahre im uralten Barrique. Holzfrei aber entwickelt. Wahnsinnig jung und frisch, geradaus, und zugleich diese blumige Reife. Tondonia ist einer der Welt-Maßstäbe für perfekt gereifte Weine. 97/100

Even better than the 2005, which was my white of the year in 2018, this is a wine that makes you want to weep with emotion, combining Viura with 10% Malvasía to produce a Reserva of timeless excellence. Savoury, salty and umami-rich, it has notes of honey, wild flowers and saffron, supported by the acidity of a cooler year. 98/100
