Lobenberg: Rund 30% unentrappt, traditionelle Vergärung mit moderater Maischestandzeit. Dann 13 Monate in 25% neuem französischem Holz. Nach der Vergärung mit indigener Hefe wird der Wein, typisch für Felton Road, nicht ungeschönt und ungefiltert abgefüllt. Der Cornish Point Vineyard ist besonders durch seine Nähe zum Wasser und das dadurch beeinflusste Kleinklima sehr interessant. Der Wein duftet toll nach Schwarzkirsche, Cassis und feinen Kräutern, wie Lorbeer und Wachholder. Etwas Leder. Auch erdige Noten. Reife, feine Tannine geben dem Wein Struktur und betten die Aromen ein. Die spritzige Säurebalance gibt dem Wein ein langes Finish. Toller Wein! 95-96/100

-- Parker: The cedar-accented 2019 Cornish Point Pinot Noir matured 13 months in 30% new French oak, and while there is a woody thumbprint on the nose, the raspberry, black cherry and cola notes bleed through, making an even larger impression. Medium to full-bodied, broad and generous on the palate, this is marked by some dusty (but ripe) tannins, adding richness to the wine's texture in the mouth and on the lingering finish. 93/100
