Lobenberg: Nur Handlese, nur vorsichtig angequetscht. Gärung bei 26 bis 28 Grad. Zur Hälfte in Stahl zur anderen Hälfte in gebrauchten Barriquefässern. Unheimlich dichte Nase, schwarze Kirsche, Pflaume. Wuchtig würzig. Süßholz, Vanille, sogar ein wenig Blutorange. Im Mund mit viel Anfangsdruck. Angenehme Tanninstruktur. Dann weicher werdend. Die Frucht ist Schwarzkirsche mit Anklängen von Waldhimbeeren. Läuft herrlich leicht die Kehle hinunter. Nicht kompliziert, nur charmant, individuell und sehr schön. 91-92/100

-- Parker: he 2010 Tinto Quinta da Falorca, i.e., the Estate Tinto with just Quinta da Falorca on the front, is utterly charming. Late released, it was aged for 22 months in stainless steel vats (50% of the juice), with the rest in used French oak barrels for 16 months. Okay, it's not a wine with the power and persistence of the winery's highest end or even its very best offerings in this brand. But it is beautifully balanced, very well-integrated, caressing, rather sexy and simply delicious. Alternately earthy and sweet, it is a wine you can drink rather than obsess over. It will just make you happy. Is there still a place for that? I think so. It is accessible right now, but should hold nicely for several years. There were 5,274 bottles produced.
